if that women decides to go for an ultrasound, just to check, the ultrasound will probably come bacl normal...why? because the cysts are too small to be seen ...also, the woman's eggs live down there, & they look alot like cysts...
a PET scan, positron emission tomography sees heat in colour...so maybe that part of the woman's body will appear hotter than normal on a PET scan...but then again, that is the place where babies get made, & it is hotter anyway...so the woman goes home...
so the cysts, living in the ovaries, grow & multiply...they spread...looking for another warm fatty place...they grow, because, though the woman may have stopped taking progesterone birth control, the drug is still living in her system...did the woman ever take anything to counteract the effects of the progesterone ?
